Leading 3-0, Olympia decided the game with a 6-run rally on five basehits in the third inning. Rosanne de Vries led off with a double, reached third base on a wild pitch, then scored on another. The bases then got loaded when Rachel van Veen was hit by a pitch, Emma Wójcik singled (these two stole the next base) and Brenda Beers walked. That led to a pitching change, as Isanthe Rouwenhorst took over. She gave up a runscoring single to Julia van der Meer, then saw another run being scored on a wild pitch. With one out, Eva Voortman batted in two runs with a single. After Jessie van Aalst walked, Voortman was forced out at third base on a grounder by Mariëlle Vleugels. Moments later, Van Aalst scored the sixth run in the inning on a single by Rosanne de Vries.

Four more runs were scored with two outs in the fourth inning. After the inning began with several changes in the defense of the Talent Team, Brenda Beers hit a double with one out. With two outs, she scored on a single by Chelsea Robison. Next batter Eva Voortman also singled and Jessie van Aalst followed with a 2-run double. Hereafter, Romy van der Ham took over the pitching, but she was greeted with an RBI-double by Mariëlle Vleugels that lifted the lead to 13-0.

The Talent Team got into scoring position twice. In the second inning, Sterre den Duijn led off with a single and stole second base. With one out, she was eliminated in a rundown on a fielder's choice-comeback-grounder by Lisa Meyering.

In the third inning, Yindi Beekveldt doubled with two outs, but stranded on second base.
