Hereafter, Stephen Henson walked and the team from Dordrecht got runners on second and third base when they got these bases awarded when Steenwijk committed a balk.
Moments later, Ruben scored on a single by Brian Raap, but Henson was then eliminated at the plate when he also tried to score.
Raap then moved to third base when Tim Roodenburg added another single, then scored when an outfield-error followed.
After stranding two runners in the second inning, The Hawks added two runs in the third inning.

With The Hawks now leading 5-0, Jerremyh Angela took over the pitching, but the lefthander walked Chris Williams, then gave up a runscoring single to Jules Peters that made it 6-0.
A double play ended the at bat, but The Hawks had now a comfortable lead.

In the sixth, off of new pitcher Oscar Meuris, The Hawks scored another run.
Tim Roodenburg led off with a walk.
With two outs, Meuris walked three batters in a row to bring in a run, but The Hawks left the bases loaded when a strikeout ended the inning.
In the bottom of the sixth, UVV scored its second and last run when Gilmer Lampe homered with one out.
The home team avoided a mercy-rule loss, but nevertheless, it suffered a 10-run difference loss, as The Hawks added two more runs in the remainder of the game.
In the top of the eighth, a run was scored on a grounder by Brian Raap.
In the ninth, the twelfth run was scored on a double by Odion Gouverneur off of Omar Williams, who had been the designated hitter until taking the mound in this at bat.
