Roster Kingdom Team Netherlands announced for Premier12

Manager Hensley Meulens has announced his 28-man roster for the team of the Kingdom of the Netherlands that will participate in the Premier12, which takes place next month.
The event opens on Sunday, November 8 with the match-up between Japan and South Korea in Sapporo (Japan).
The next day, the preliminary round gets underway in Taiwan with the meeting between Taiwan and The Netherlands.
From November 10 on, all remaining preliminary games will be played in Taiwan, as well as the Quarter Finals.
Hereafter, the Semi-FInals and Final will be played in Sapporo (Japan).
Amongst the 28 players selected for the event are former Major League-players Andruw Jones, Wladimir Balentien, Jair Jurrjens and Shairon Martis.
Twelve of the selected players play in the Dutch big league, including nine pitchers and two catchers.
One pitcher plays in Germany.
The 15 other players play professionally in the USA or in Asia.
One of these players, Kalian Sams, also played briefly in the Dutch big league this season for Corendon Kinheim.

Catchers:
Gianison Boekhoudt (Curaçao Neptunus), Dashenko Ricardo (Corendon Kinheim) and Shawn Zarraga.
Infielders:
Carlton Daal, Yurendell De Caster, Andruw Jones, Sharlon Schoop, Curt Smith and Hainley Statia.
Outfielders:
Wladimir Balentien, Chris Garia, Randolph Oduber and Kalian Sams.
Utility Players:
Dwayne Kemp (Curaçao Neptunus) and Gianfranco Wawoe.
