Amsterdam Pirates opened the score with one run in the first inning.
The home team led 4-0 after five at bats and went on to hold onto the lead to move closer to the Holland Series.
In the first at bat, Roelie Henrique led off with a double off of David Bergman and advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Michael Duursma.
Moments later, he scored the first run when Nick Urbanus followed with a sacrifice fly.
After Kinheim had turned a double play in the second inning, Amsterdam added a run in the third.
This time, Linoy Croes led off with a double and moved on a sac-bunt by Henrique.
With two outs, he scored on a single by Urbanus.
Pirates was retired in order in the fourth inning by Bergman, who then gave up two more runs in the fifth.
With one out, Rashid Gerard doubled and then scored on a following triple by Linoy Croes, who then scored himself on a sacrifice fly by Roelie Henrique.
Amsterdam-starter Kevin Heijstek retired the side in the first inning, then gave up a 2-out double to Jeffrey Arends in the second, but he was left behind.
Heijstek retired the side again in the third and began the fourth inning striking out Mervin Gario and Bryan Engelhardt.
The righthander then gave up a single to Phil Ortez, but closed the at bat by striking out Dashenko Ricardo.
In the fifth inning, Kinheim left two more runners.
With one out, Dudley Leonora singled, but was forced out.
Jochem Koedijk then singled.
With two runners on base, a flyout ended the at bat.
In the top of the sixth inning, trailing 4-0, Kinheim scored its first run.
With one out, Bryan Engelhardt reached on a bunt-single and advanced on a grounder by Phil Ortez.
He then scored on a following single by Dashenko Ricardo.
Engelhardt was ejected a week ago and as his case was to be handled last Thursday-evening, he faces a possible suspension.
However, Kinheim appealed the ejection and so Engelhardt is eligible to play this weekend.
In the seventh inning, Kinheim scored another run, narrowing the deficit to 4-2.
Dudley Leonora led off with a single, moved on a sacrifice bunt by Jasper Keijzer, then scored on a single by Jochem Koedijk.
With two outs, the latter was caught stealing to end the inning.
In the eighth inning, Mervin Gario led off for Kinheim with a single, but then Engelhardt grounded into a double play.
Ortez followed with a single, then was left behind.
In the bottom of the eighth, Michael Duursma doubled for Pirates with one out, but later stranded on third base.
In the top of the ninth inning, Kinheim got two runners on base.
With one out, Dudley Leonora doubled, then advanced on a flyout.
With two outs, Jochem Koedijk walked, which led to a pitching change.
Daan Hendrix took over for Heijstek and he got a grounder from Kevin Moesquit that ended the game and earned him a save.
