Neptunus opened the score in the second inning off of Canadian righthander Jeremy Filipek
Christian Diaz then led off with a triple and scored on an one-out single by Urving Kemp.
Two runs were added in the fourth at bat.
This time, Gianison Boekhoudt led off with a double and scored on a following single by Christian Diaz.
With one out, the latter scored on a sacrifice fly by Urving Kemp.
Neptunus scored its fourth run in the fifth off of UVV's third pitcher in the game, Rick Heijman.
With one out, Benjamin Dille singled, moved to third base on a single by Raily Legito and scored on a sacrifice fly by Gianison Boekhoudt.
The inning then ended when Legito was caught stealing after a pick-off.

Norbert Jongerius pitched the sixth inning for UVV.
Jongerius, who mostly plays in the outfield, last month participated with the National Team of France in the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Panama.
In his inning on the mound, he gave up a 2-out single to Urving Kemp, but he was left behind.
Neptunus lifted the lead to 5-0 in the seventh.
Steven Wharwood then led off with a single, advanced on a wild pitch and went on to score on an error.
Orlando Yntema started for Neptunus and threw four scoreless innings, seeing UVV strand two runners on second base.
Kenny Van Den Branden took over in the fifth and also threw four innings.
The Belgian righthander gave up no runs in his first three innings, but then saw UVV score its first run in the eighth.
The inning began with a nice play by third baseman Daniel Fernandes, but hereafter a walk followed for .
A double by Omar Williams and a single by Sergino Martis then led to the run.
Neptunus got the run back in the bottom of the eighth when Gianison Boekhoudt led off with a walk.
With two outs, Urving Kemp also walked and a double-steal situation then enabled Boekhoudt to score.
In the ninth, UVV scored its second run off of closer Bayron Cornelisse.
Rick Kuipers (fielder's choice) then scored on a 2-out single by Tim Veraghtert.
