Kinheim completes sweep against DSS

HAARLEM (Neth.) -
Kinheim won 7-2 on Sunday (July 3) against DSS to complete a series-sweep.
Kinheim won the opener on Thursday-evening with an 8-0 shutout, then won 11-1 in eight innings on Saturday.
In the first series between the two neighbouring teams in the first half of the regular season, DSS won the opener, but then lost the next two games.
In today's game, Kinheim led 2-0 when DSS came alongside in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Kinheim then broke the tie in the sixth inning when Dudley Leonora hit a 3-run homerun.
Sander Paap also homered for Kinheim, putting the team ahead 1-0 in the second inning.
Winning pitcher David Bergman had a fine outing for Kinheim.
The righthander gave up only four hits in the seven innings he pitched.
