 Twins adds Shurty Tremus to coaching-staff

De Glaskoning Twins announced on Friday (November 4) that it has added former player Shurty Tremus to its coaching-staff for next season.
Twins announced that Tremus will be its 3B Coach and Hitting Coach next season in the staff of Head Coach Kevin Roovers.
After completion of this season, Tremus retired as an active player after having played for several teams in the Dutch big league through the years.
This season, Tremus, who mostly played as short stop, was the fifth best hitter for Twins with a .186 batting average (21-for-113).
The infielder scored 14 runs, batted in eight and led the team with 23 walks.
During the Play-Downs, Tremus batted .364 (8-for-22) with three doubles, scoring two runs and batting in four.
The coaching-staff of Twins will le lead again next year by Kevin Roovers as Head Coach.
Kevin Knollenburg also returns as one of the coaches.
1B Coach Marcel Aerts and 3B Coach Bas Nooijens both retired after the season.
This season, Twins made its comeback at the highest level after winning the Promotion/Relegation Series last year against Mampaey The Hawks.
This year, Twins secured its spot in the big league for next season by finishing in sixth place.
