Misja Harcksen pitches for new team

Dutch righthanded pitcher Misja Harcksen pitched in his first game for his new club on Thursday (August 4).
Harcksen started the season with the AZL Dodgers, but transfered to the Ogden Raptors on Wednesday.
Harcksen pitched in the Dutch big league for Curaçao Neptunus in 2013 and 2014.

In December 2013, Harcksen signed a professional contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He was then assigned to the AZL Dodgers (Rookie League), where he pitched in seven games during the 2014 season.
The 21-year old righthander then also started the 2015 season with the team in the Arizona League.
He then threw in ten games for the team, but transfered to Ogden Raptors in August.
With the Raptors, which also plays at the Rookie League-level, Harcksen pitched in eight more games.
This year, the pitcher was again assigned to the AZL Dodgers and did very well.
He appeared in 12 games (all in relief) and was 3-0 with a 3.86 ERA.
In 18 2/3 inning, Harcksen struckout 25 batters and walked only four, while giving up 17 basehits.
His results so far resulted on Wednesday in a new transfer to Ogden Raptors.
Harcksen traveled to Billings (Montana), where the Raptors played on Thursday against Billings Mustangs (Cincinnati Reds).
Harcksen immediately got into action for his new team.
Ogden took an 1-0 lead in the third inning, but then gave up three runs in the fourth.
Trailing 3-1, Harcksen took over the pitching in the bottom of the fifth.
He threw two scoreless innings and struckout two batters.
Ogden lost the game, 4-2.
