Twins wins on errors in 9th inning against Kinheim

OOSTERHOUT (Neth.) -
De Glaskoning Twins trailed 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth inning against Kinheim on Saturday (August 6), but three defensive errors the led to three runs and a 7-6 victory.
With the win, Twins ended a 5-game losing streak.
Twins initially took a 4-0 lead off of lefthander Scott Ronnenbergh, scoring three runs in the first and another one in the fourth at bat.
Berry van Donselaar contributed with a 2-run double in the first inning.
Kinheim got one run back in the fourth inning off of Japanese starter Keiji Uezono when Kevin Moesquit led off with a homerun.
The Haarlem-squad came alongside in the fifth.
First, a run was scored on a wild pitch, then Julio Hernandez added a 2-run single.
In the sixth, singles by Jochem Koedijk and Jasper Keijzer gave Kinheim a 6-4 lead.
In his big league-debut, reliever Jorino Huis in 't Veld took over the Kinheim-pitching in the seventh and threw two scoreless innings.
Kinheim then failed to hold onto the lead in the bottom of the ninth off of new pitcher Chiel Berkhout when the Haarlem-defense committed three costly errors.
With one out and the bases loaded, a throwing error on a force play-grounder resulted in the winning run for Twins.
