Nederlands
VLEUTEN (Neth.) -
Kinheim scored five runs in the first two innings on Thursday-evening (July 7) and went on to win 7-3 at Pickles UVV in the opener of their 3-game series, which will be the final one before the international break.
Kinheim scored twice in the first and added three runs in the second at bat to take an early 5-0 lead.
But in the remainder of the game, the Haarlem-squad added only two more runs.
UVV scored its three runs in the second inning off lefthander Scott Ronnenbergh, who started tonight instead of the announced Tom Stuifbergen.
Kinheim collected ten basehits, including three by Kevin Moesquit and a homerun by Bryan Engelhardt.
