 HCAW closes season with big win

 BUSSUM (Neth.) -
HCAW closed its regular season on Sunday (August 7) with a big 12-2 victory in eight innings against DSS.
After having played for four hours and three minutes on Saturday, today's game lasted only two hours and 33 minutes.
HCAW led only 3-0 after three innings, but added nine more runs in the remainder of the game to create a 10-run difference and ending the game in the eighth inning via the mercy-rule.
With one out, a double by Gianni Frolijk resulted in two runs, increased the lead to 12-2 and ended the game.
Earlier in the game, his brother Rossini Frolijk had homered.
HCAW collected 18 basehits in the game, including three by Gianni Frolijk.
HCAW's Head Coach Roy Berrevoets used eleven players offensively and they all had at least one basehit.
