At Space Coast Stadium in Viera, the Washington Nationals played at home vs. Houston Astros and lost 4-3.
Spencer Kieboom didn't play today, but as reported, he was the starting catcher on Wednesday in the game against the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland.
In that game, he was 0-for-1 and walked once and also scored a run.
In his first at bat in the third inning, he faced veteran pitcher Justin Verlander and grounded out.

At Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie, the New York Mets won 7-2 in a home-game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Mets collected 13 basehits, including one by Roger Bernadina, who was 1-for-3 and scored once.
Bernadina entered the game in the top of the fourth inning, replacing Curtis Granderson in rightfield.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, with one out, Bernadina singled, then scored when next batter Ruben Tejada homered, tying the score at 2-2.
In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on first and second base and two outs, Bernadina flied out.
In the seventh, the Mets scored four runs to take the lead.
The Mets took a 3-2 lead on a basesloaded-grounder by Ty Kelly, then Travis Taijeron followed with a 3-run homerun.
Hereafter, the Mets got the bases loaded again, which brought Bernadina in the batter's box.
He hit a grounder, which resulted in the lead runner being forced out at the plate.
Another force play-grounder ended the at bat.
At Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, the Baltimore Orioles played a 4-4 nine-inning tie against a split-squad of the New York Yankees.
Jonathan Schoop started at second base for the home-playing Orioles and went 1-for-3.
Schoop popped out in the second inning.
With two outs and Hyun-Soo Kim (hit by pitch) and J.J. Hardy (walk) on base in the fourth inning, Schoop reached on an error that loaded the bases.
However, a flyout then ended the at bat.
In the bottom of the sixth, with two outs and Hardy (single) on first base, Schoop delivered a double, but they again stranded, as this time a pop-fly ended the inning.
Schoop was then replaced in the top of te seventh inning.
At Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers, the Boston Red Sox hosted the Minnesota Twins and lost 8-2.
Xander Bogaerts was the starting short stop for the BoSox and went 0-for-3.
Bogaerts flied out int he first inning off of starter Ervin Santana, who retired nine batters in a row.
In the fourth inning, Bogaerts popped out off of reliever Jose Berrios, who retired seven consecutive batters.
The Perfect Game then ended with one out in the sixth inning when Dan Butler singled.
Bogaerts popped out again in the seventh inning, then was replaced in the top of the eighth inning.
At Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, the Atlanta Braves visited the Miami Marlins and won 5-2.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Ozzie Albies entered the game as new second baseman for the Braves.
In the top of the ninth inning, with Reid Brignac (double) on second base, Albies grounded out in his lone at bat in the game.
That enabled Brignac to move to third base and he then scored an insurance run on a triple by Emilio Bonifacio, who later scored himself on a 2-out double by Chase d'Arnaud to lift the lead to 5-2.
At Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Los Angels Angels of Anaheim played at home and lost 5-3 to Arizona Diamondbacks.
Andrelton Simmons started as short stop for the Angels and was 0-for-2.
In the second inning, Simmons popped out in his first at bat and he grounded out in the fourth inning.
He was then one of the eight players that was replaced in the top of the seventh inning.
Trailing 3-2, the Angels came alongside in the bottom of the seventh, but the D-backs then scored twice in the eighth to win the game.
At Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, the Los Angeles Dodgers visited the Oakland A's and won 8-3, but was outhit 10-7.
The Dodgers rallied for five runs in the first inning and that was decisive for the game.
In the top of the seventh, with the Dodgers leading 7-3 and two outs, Shawn Zarraga entered the game as pinch-hitter for designated hitter Andre Ethier.
Zarraga walked, was left behind and remained in the game as the new DH.
Zarraga got his second at bat in the ninth inning, also with two outs.
He again reached base, this time on an error, and stranded.
