Draci Brno vs. Munich-Haar Disciples
Munich-Haar scored its first run in the top of the first inning off of starter Michal Sobotka when Simon Lechner and Christoph Ziegler hit back-to-back doubles.
Brno came alongside in its first at bat off of starter Gregory Hendrix, who closed the first game on Monday.
He then faced one batter and gave up a 2-out, 2-run double that ended the game, resulting in a 5-4 win for Brno.
Tonight, he began with a strikeout, but then hit next batter Adam Hatjmar, who moved on a double by Martin Schneider, then scored on a grounder by Přemek Chroust, who hit the walk-off double the evening before.
The Disciples re-took the lead in the third inning when Joey Randazzo led off with a single and scored on a 2-out single by Christoph Ziegler.
The Germans took more distance by scoring twice in the fourth inning.
With one out, Ty Eriksen walked and Ruben Manriquez singled, then Denis Wallace and Joey Randazzo followed with runscoring singles to make it 4-1.
Brno cut the deficit in half in the fifth inning on a single by Jakub Hajtmar.
But this time, Munich-Haar hold onto the lead and added more runs in the final three at bats.
In the seventh inning, Joey Randazzo led off with his third basehit in the game, stole second base, then advanced on a grounder.
Moments later, Randazzo scored on a wild pitch.
The Germans rallied for four more runs in the ninth inning to lift the lead to 9-2.
Denis Wallace led off with a single, then Joey Randazzo recorded his fourth basehit, which was followed by a throwing error.
Both scored on a double by William Thorp.
With one out, Christoph Ziegler delivered a runscoring single.
With two outs, a double by Mitch Stephan made it 9-2.
In the bottom of the ninth, Cody Chartrand closed the game for Munich-Haar.
He took over from Moritz Polixa, who had pitched the previous three innings in relief of starter Gregory Hendrix.
Chartrand retired the side to complete the game.
