Neptunus came alongside right away in its first at bat off of veteran righthander Elton Koeiman.
With one out, Stijn van der Meer and Christian Diaz singled.
The latter was forced out on a grounder by Gianison Boekhoudt that moved Van der Meer to third base and he scored on a following single by Daniel Fernandes.
After Yntema had retired the side in the top of the second inning, Neptunus scored three unearned runs due to two errors in the bottom of the at bat.

In the bottom of the eighth, off of new pitcher Floris Timmer, Neptunus reached the 10-run difference to end the game via the mercy-rule.
The inning began with a pop-up from pinch-hitter Tijani Dunlop, who made his big league-debut.
Dunlop is the son of former big league-player/coach Aldric Dunlop.
Hereafter, the bases got loaded when Gianison Boekhoudt walked, Daniel Fernandes doubled and Steven Wharwood also walked.
Shaldimar Daantji followed with a 2-run single and the bases got loaded again moments later when Urving Kemp walked.
That led to a pitching change.

He got a full count off of Shadrach Meulens, who then delivered a 2-run, walk-off single that ended the game.
