Vaessen Pioniers vs. HCAW
Pioniers scored all their runs in the second inning off of starter Sander Helmendach.
The righthander hit lead-off hitter Kevin Dirksen and then made a throwing error on a sacrifice bunt by Brian Raap.
Hereafter, he gave up a runscoring single to Shurman Marlin and loaded the bases by walking Mark Smit.
Glenn Bakker followed with a baseclearing, 3-run triple and later scored himself on an one-out single by Mervin Gario that made it a 5-0 score.

In the seventh, reliever Gijs van Els did the same.
Tim Niekerk threw the eighth inning for HCAW.
He gave up a lead-off double to Quintin De Cuba, who advanced on a grounder, but Niekerk then closed with two strikeouts.
HCAW was unable to do something off of starter Lars Hujer, who had a strong outing.

He was supported with a double play in the fourth inning.
In the fifth, he gave up a lead-off single to Rossini Frolijk, who moved on a grounder to become the lone runner in scoring position off of Huijer.
After giving the single, Huijer retired eight of the next nine batters, including five with a strikeout.
Jonatan Isenia took over in the eighth.
With one out, he walked pinch-hitters Kevin Nieveld and Jelle Blaauw, but they stranded on first and second base.
