Andruw Jones in RTL Late Night

AMSTERDAM (Neth.) - Former Major League-player Andruw Jones is one of the guest in tonight's (Wednesday, April 13) edition of RTL Late Night, which will be broadcast at 10:30 PM on RTL4.

RTL Late Night is the daily late night talkshow hosted by Humberto Tan.

Curaçao-born Andruw Jones will lookback to his impressive baseball-career and looks ahead to the future. Jones, who turns 39 on April 23, played 17 seasons (1996-2012) in the Major League. The first 12 of those, he was the centerfielder for the Atlanta Braves. In 1996, he became the youngest player ever to hit a homerun in the World Series. Following his career with the Braves, Jones also played for Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees.

In 2013 and 2014, Jones played in Japan for Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles with whom he won the championship.

In February, Jones was elected into the Braves Hall of Fame. In early March, he was named Special Assistant to the department of Baseball Operations of the Braves.

In 2006 and 2013, Jones played for the Netherlands Kingdom Team in the World Baseball Classic. In November last year, he also played for the Orange squad in the Premier12 in Taiwan.
