 Game Amsterdam Pirates vs. Pioniers postponed

 AMSTERDAM (Neth.) -
The second game of the season between L&D Amsterdam Pirates and Vaessen Pioniers had to be cancelled on Saturday (April 16).
Last Thursday-evening, the first match-up ended in a 3-1 win for Pioniers.
On Friday-evening, a game on a lower level was played on the site in Amsterdam.
Despite some rain, that game continued.
Overnight, there was some heavy rain and it was reported that due to the game and the rain, the pitcher's mound and catcher's area were not in a playable fashion.
That led to the decision in the morning to cancel the game.
The game is re-scheduled for Tuesday-evening, April 19, starting at 7:30 PM, in Amsterdam.
The announced starting pitchers for Saturday will now start on Sunday.
The starters for Sunday will move to Tuesday-evening.
