 Pioniers shuts out Neptunus in quick game Nederlands
 
 
  ROTTERDAM (Neth.) - 
Vaessen Pioniers won a pitching-duel on Thursday-evening (August 18) against Curaçao Neptunus and registered a 2-0 shutout. 
Neptunus opened the Play-Offs with a 3-game sweep against Kinheim, but today suffered its first loss. 
Pioniers was outhit 5-4 and scored a run in the fourth and sixth inning. 
Lars Huijer and Diegomar Markwell both went the distance for respectively Pioniers and Neptunus in a game that lasted under two hours.
With one hour and 54 minutes, it was one of the quickest games in Play-Off history.
