Amsterdam Pirates answered with four runs in its first at bat off off starter Glenn Wassink.
With one out, the righthander walked Michael Duursma, Gilmer Lampe and Remco Draijer, then gave up a runscoring single to Danny Rombley that tied the score.
An error on a force play-grounder by Linoy Croes gave Pirates a 2-1 lead and kept the bases loaded.
With two outs, Rashid Gerard added a 2-run single to make it a 4-1 score.
After being retired in order in the second and third inning, Kinheim narrowed the deficit to 4-3 in the fourth at bat.

Hereafter, two runs were scored when Glenn Wassink also walked Gilmer Lampe and Remco Draijer, which made it a 6-3 score.
Amsterdam added a run in the fifth off of new pitcher Scott Ronnenbergh.
Pinch-hitter Koen Nooij led off with a single and went on to score on a wild pitch, but Pirates also would leave three runners.
