De Glaskoning Twins vs. HCAW
Both teams left two runnners behind in the first inning, but then HCAW opened the score with two runs in the top of the second inning.

In the second, Belgian righthander Cedric Desmedt gave up a lead-off single to Julian Goins, then another single to Jelle Blaauw. With one out, both advanced on a passed ball, then Boyd Tuhumury delivered a runscoring single. Next batter Roelie Henrique grounded out, but that also led to the second HCAW-run. Desmedt closed with a strikeout.

HCAW-starter Kaj Timmermans retired the side in the second and third inning, but then Twins rallied for four runs in the bottom of the fourth at bat. And that would decide the game. Jarreau Martina led off with a walk, then the bases got loaded when Jeffrey Arends singled and Berry van Donselaar also walked. A sacrifice fly by Bob van der Meer followed, then a double by Anthony Vrolijk tied the score. With two outs, an error was made on a grounder by Nick Peels, which enabled both Van Donselaar and Vrolijk to score to give Twins a 4-2 lead. A strikeout closed the inning, but Twins had taken the lead.

In the remainder of the game, Twins would add only one more basehit and would reach base only three more times! In the fifth, Jarreau Martina walked with one out, but a double play followed. In the sixth, Berry van Donselaar led off with a single, but HCAW then made another double play. In the eighth, Bart Hanegraaff led off with a walk and moved on a sacrifice bunt to become the lone Twins-runner to reach second base since the fourth inning.

In its last five innings, HCAW registered six more basehits, but would score only one more run. In the fifth, Kevin Nieveld doubled with two outs, but stranded.

In the seventh, off of new pitcher Brendan Schoemaker, HCAW scored its third run. With two outs, Rossini Frolijk singled, moved on a passed ball and scored on a single by Kevin Nieveld.

In the eighth, Jelle Blaauw led off for HCAW with a walk, moved on a sacrifice bunt and a flyout, but stranded on third base. In the ninth, off of Matthew Latta, Rossini Frolijk singled with two outs, then Kevin Nieveld doubled, but a grounder then ended the game.
