ROTTERDAM (Neth.) -
The re-scheduled game between league-leaders Curaçao Neptunus and L&D Amsterdam Pirates, which was to be played tonight (Tuesday, June 21), had to be cancelled due to rain and field conditions for the second consecutive week.
After a day of 14 hours of consecutive rain on Monday and more rain on Tuesday-afternoon, the field had become unplayable.

The game has been re-scheduled for next Tuesday, June 28.
The game initially was scheduled for Friday, May 27, but then was halted by the umpiring crew in the bottom of the fourth inning with Neptunus hitting when a bench-clearing brawl escalated.
It was decided that the game had to be replayed in its entirety and was re-scheduled initially for last Tuesday (June 14) to be played in Rotterdam.
However, there was some heavy rain through the morning and the early afternoon a week ago, which then also made the field of the Rotterdam-stadium unplayable.
The game was re-scheduled for tonight, but again weather conditions made playing impossible.
The game is the final one of the first half of the regular season, which ended for all other teams on May 29.
The winner of this game will finish in first place, the losing team ends up in second place.
Whatever the result, both teams already secured a spot in the Play-Offs by finishing in either first or second place.
