Kutno and Borgerhout win again in London
LONDON, England (Great Britain) -
On Day 2 of the Federations Cup Qualifier in London, Stal Kutno (Poland) and Borgerhout Squirrels (Belgium) won their second game of the event on Wednesday (June 22) to become the favorites to reach the all-deciding final.
The Polish squad won 10-5 against Sofia Blues from Bulgaria, which played its first game.
Kutno collected 12 basehits, including three by Artur Wojtczak, who also scored twice.
He also was successful as a pitcher, as he went the distance, struckout 13 batters and gave up seven hits.
