Sofia Blues vs. Stal Kutno
In the first game today, Kutno rallied for seven runs in the top of the second inning. Sofia was able to score five runs from the second through seventh inning, but kept on facing a deficit and lost 10-5.

Kutno collected 12 basehits, including three by Artur Wojtczak, who also scored twice. He also was successful as a pitcher, as he went the distance, struckout 13 batters and gave up seven hits.

In the top of the first inning, Kutno got the bases loaded with one out, but then a strikeout followed. The inning ended with another strikeout, but that was turned into a fielder's choice, as the runner from third base was forced out instead of throwing the ball to first base.

The Polish team then rallied for seven runs in the second inning on six basehits. With the bases loaded and one out, the first run was scored on a wild pitch. An error then led to the next run and Mariusz Grzanowski added a runscoring single, followed by back-to-back RBI-doubles by Robert Matecki and Artur Wojtczak and a runscoring single by Kacper Kaminski.

Sofia got one run back in its second inning. Dimitar Nassapov led off with a single and went on to steal home plate after a failed pick-off.

Both teams scored one run in the third at bat. The Bulgarians then added a run in the fifth on an error to narrow the deficit to 8-3.

In the seventh, Kutno scored again on a force play-grounder to take some more distance. In the bottom of the seventh, Sofia scored two runs, one on an error, the other on a sacrifice fly by playing/coach Dimitar Nassapov. That made it a 10-5 score, but that was to be it for the Bulgarians.

Borgerhout Squirrels vs. Atletico Alexandria
In the second game today, Borgerhout faced a 2-0 deficit halfway the first inning, but went on to turn the game its way from the second inning on. The Belgians then scored three runs and had a 4-run rally in the fiftth to register a comfortable 12-2 win against Alexandria.

Borgerhout collected 14 basehits, including four by Yannick Gontier. Eight Belgian players scored at least once and had at least one basehit, except for second baseman Drew Janssen. But he was one of seven players with at least one run batted in.

The Romanians opened the score with two runs in the top of the first inning off of starting pitcher Matthew De Permentier. Ionut Serban led off with a walk, then Cristian Leonida singled with two outs. Hereafter, Catalin Gavrila and Adrian Preda delivered runscoring singles to give Alexandria an early lead.

The Squirrels got one run back in its first at bat on a sacrifice fly by Sam Boermans.

After Alexandria had left runners on first and third base in the second inning, Borgerhout took over the lead by scoring three runs in its second at bat. With one out, Timen Van Geel was hit by a pitch and stole second base, then Roy De Milde walked. An error on a pick-off led to runners on second and third base and both scored when Steven De Lannoy followed with a 2-run single. De Lannoy later scored himself on a single by Joannes Ochoa Blanco.

Borgerhout took more distance by scoring twice in the third inning on two runscoring grounders.

In the fifth inning, the Squirrels increased the lead to 10-2 by scoring four runs, highlighted by a 2-run double by Sam Boermans.

Alexandria reached base frequently after the first at bat, but left eight runners behind.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Borgerhout reached the 10-run difference. With two outs, Joannes Ochoa Blanco scored on a passed ball, then the game ended on a runscoring single by Timen Van Geel.
