 DSS outscores Twins with late rally

 HAARLEM (Neth.) -
DSS scored three runs in the eighth inning to win 5-1 against De Glaskoning Twins in a make-up game on Monday-evening (August 22).
The game was originally scheduled for Sunday, but then rained out.
Coming weekend, DSS closes the Play-Downs against Pickles UVV but has to win all three games to avoid playing in the best-of-five Promotion/Relegation Play-Off.
DSS scored a run in the fourth and sixth inning, then Twins got one back in the eighth.
Leading 2-1, DSS rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth on only one basehit.
After scoring on a wild pitch and in a double steal-situation, rookie Ties van der Beeke added a runscoring double.
