In the third game of their series, Pioniers was silenced today by the Twins-pitching, which gave up only two basehits.
Pioniers got into scoring position only twice and that happened in the eighth and ninth inning.

He started the game against his former team with two strikeouts, then gave up a single to Mervin Gario, but he stranded on first base.
From that moment on, Koeiman retired the next 13 batters in a row.
Lefthander Nick Keur started for Pioniers and had a good start.
He struckout the first two batters and retired the first five batters he faced.
With two outs in the second, Keur walked a batter, but he stranded.
Keur then gave up the first run in the third at bat.
He walked lead-off hitter Anthony Vrolijjk, who was awarded second base on a balk.
With one out, the game was interrupted for 13 minutes by rain.
When the game resumed, Keur returned to the mound and gave up an infield-hit to Jarreau Martina.
That moved Vrolijk to third base, who then scored when a throwing error followed Martina's basehit.
Moments later, Martina was eliminated in a rundown after a pick-off.

When Van der Meer reacted, he was ejected.
