Pioniers rallies in 7th inning to win against Kinheim

HOOFDDORP (Neth.) -
Vaessen Pioniers trailed 4-2 in the seventh inning, but then rallied for three runs to win 5-4 against Kinheim on Thursday-evening (August 25).
With the win, Pioniers keeps its chances alive of reaching the Holland Series.
However, in order to do that, they have to sweep Kinheim, while L&D Amsterdam Pirates has to be swept by Curaçao Neptunus.
Tonight, Amsterdam lost 4-3.
Kinheim outhit Pioniers 10-7, including three basehits by Niels van Weert.
Pioniers decided the game by scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
They came alongside on a 2-run single by Christopher Garia, who then scored the go-ahead run on a grounder by Mervin Gario.
