HCAW vs. DSS
HCAW-starter Ian Delemarre retired the side (three grounders) in the first inning, then saw DSS strand a runner on second base in the next at bat and another one at first base in the third inning.

Rookie Donny Breek started for DSS and he was supported with a double play in the first inning. HCAW left a runner on first base in the second inning, then got a runner in scoring position in the third at bat. Jelle Blaauw led off with a walk and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Marciano Philippi, then advanced on a single by Roelie Henrique, which led to runners on first and third base. Blaauw was then eliminated on a grounder towards third base. Henrique later advanced on a wild pitch, but stranded on third base.

For DSS, Koen Halderman led off the fourth inning with a single, stole second base and advanced on a grounder, but also was left behind.

HCAW then decided the game with a 7-run rally in the bottom of the fourth inning on five basehits. Rossini Frolijk and Kevin Nieveld led off with singles, resulting in runners on first and third base. Hereafter, Koen Halderman took over the catching for DSS, as Ruben Prins left the game. The first run was then scored on a single by Kevin Weijgertse and the bases got loaded on a bunt-single by Levine Gabriëls. Next, a walk for Jelle Blaauw and a sacrifice fly for Marciano Philippi brought in the next two runs. A following walk for Roelie Henrique re-loaded the bases and a sac-fly by Boyd Tuhumury made it a 4-0 score. DSS-starter Donny Breek cleary had problems with his control at this moment, as he also issued a walk to Vince Rooi, that gave HCAW three runners again. Another walk followed, this time for Rossini Frolijk in his second at bat in the inning. That led to another run, but also a pitching change. Gijs Timmer took over, but he walked Kevin Nieveld, which was the fifth walk for a HCAW-batter in this at bat and brought in another run. Hereafter, Kevin Weijgertse singled in the seventh run, but that also led to the third out, as Frolijk was eliminated at the plate when he also tried to score.

DSS got its first two batters on base in the fifth when Tommy van der Sanden singled and his brother Sven van der Sanden walked. But, a double play and flyout followed.

HCAW scored its eighth run in the sixth inning when Vince Rooi led off with a homerun.

HCAW then got the bases loaded again in the seventh off of new pitcher Max Ploegstra. Levine Gabriëls led off with a single and Gianni Frolijk walked, then Roelie Henrique singled with one out. A double play then ended then inning.

HCAW turned another double play in the eighth inning behind the pitching of rookie Jay-Jay Muller, who had taken over for Delemarre in the seventh. With two outs in the ninth, Seb Visser singled and Tommy van der Sanden walked, but hereafter, Muller closed the game with a strikeout.
