 Amsterdam Pirates completes sweep with big win against UVV

 AMSTERDAM (Neth.) -
L&D Amsterdam Pirates completed a 3-game sweep against Pickles UVV on Sunday (June 26) by winning 13-3 in a seven inning mercy-rule game.
Amsterdam Pirates collected 14 basehits, while four UVV-pitchers also added ten walks.
Lefthander Robin Schel, the third 'spot starter' in three consecutive games for Amsterdam Pirates, went the distance and gave up seven basehits.
Kenny Berkenbosch and Max Clarijs both had three basehits in today's game.
Clarijs batted in five runs, while Remco Draijer batted in three.
