BRNO (Czech Rep.) -
Draci Brno is the first winner of the new Federations Cup-tournament.
Playing in front of a home crowd, the Czechs shutout surprise finalist Sölvesborg Firehawks (Sweden) on Sunday (June 26) with 7-0 to win the Cup.
With that, the Czech spot promoted to the CEB Cup, which played last month.
In that tournament, the Czech Republic will be represented next year, taking the place of Austria, which relegated to the Federations Cup.

The three individual awards also went to players of Brno.
Adam Hajtmar was named Most Valuable Player of the event, while Jason Jarvis was Best Pitcher.
Martin Schneider was the Best Hitter with a .667 batting average.
