Game Amsterdam Pirates against UVV rains out

AMSTERDAM (Neth.) -
The game between L&D Amsterdam Pirates and UVV, which was scheduled to be played in Amsterdam on Sunday (March 27), was cancelled.
Through the night, heavy rainshowers hit the area, which made the field unplayable.
On Saturday, both teams faced each other in Soest with Amstedam winning 8-1.
Amsterdam Pirates now will play its next game coming Friday-evening in Bussum against HCAW, which will be the opening game of the annual In Memoriam Charles Urbanus Sr. Tournament.
The event is named after the uncle of Amsterdam's Head Coach Charles Urbanus.
UVV will play its next game next Saturday at home against Curaçao Neptunus.
The game will be played at UVV's home site in Vleuten.
The regular season opens on Thursday, April 14.
