 Third game Holland Series rains out; moved to Friday Nederlands
 
 
  AMSTERDAM (Neth.) - 
The third game of the best-of-seven Holland Series between reigning champion Curaçao Neptunus and L&D Amsterdam Pirates was cancelled due to rain around 4 PM on Thursday (September 29).
It had been raining steadily throughout the day in Amsterdam, resulting in the field become unplayable. 
The game was to start on Thursday-evening at 7:30 PM as the first of three games to be played in Amsterdam.
The game has been re-scheduled for Friday-evening and then also starts at 7:30 PM.
Games 4 and 5 are scheduled for coming Saturday and Sunday.
Both these games will start at 1 PM (one hour earlier) due to TV-coverage. 
The Championship Final opened last weekend in Rotterdam.
Amsterdam Pirates won the opener on Saturday in twelve innings, coming from behind to win 6-5.
On Sunday, Neptunus won 8-5 to even the Series.
