L&D Amsterdam Pirates vs. UVV
Amsterdam Pirates scored nine of its ten runs in the first three at bats and with that, it decided the game early.
All these runs were credited to UVV-starter Jurjen van Zijl, who was relieved in the third inning.

The Amsterdam-squad scored twice in the first inning.
Nick Urbanus led off with a double and score the first run when Gilmer Lampe reached on an error with one out.
With two outs, Lampe stole second and advanced on a wild pitch.
Moments later, Danny Rombley walked and a double steal led to the next run.
Amsterdam added two runs in the second inning.
With one out, Linoy Croes tripled and Nick Urbanus walked.
After the latter stole second base, Michael Duursma delivered a 2-run single to make it 4-0.
A 5-run rally on five hits followed in the third at bat.
Remco Draijer led off with a single and next batter Danny Rombley was hit by a pitch.
Kenny Berkenbosch then followed with an RBI-double and Jesse Aussems added a single, which led to two more runs.
A grounder by Rashid Gerard accounted for the next run.
With two outs, Nick Urbanus singled and Michael Duursma was hit by a pitch and that led to a pitching change.
Thijs Steenwijk took over, but he was greeted with a runscoring single by former UVV-player Gilmer Lampe that lifted the lead to 9-0.

In the second, he gave up a lead-off single to Omar Williams and walked Sergino Martis with one out, but closed with two more strikeouts.
In the third, he was supported with a double play, but also added another strikeout.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, UVV scored three unearned runs when the Amsterdam-defense committed two errors.
Grounders by Tim Veraghtert and Omar Williams ended in errors, then a single by Mike Bazuin loaded the bases.
A force play at the plate and a strikeout followed, but then Berend Ruben cleared the bases with a 3-run triple.
Amsterdam added another run in the fourth inning on a basesloaded walk for Nick Urbanus, but also left three runners behind.
Amsterdam was held scoreless in the remainder of the game, but the early lead was big enough to stay ahead.
UVV scored its fourth and final run in the seventh inning off of reliever Robin Schel.
Steven van Reem, who has played in the Rookie League-team of Pirates in the past, led off with a walk.
He moved on a wild pitch and a grounder, then scored on a single by Dennis Ribbens.
