A few days ago, there was some spectacular breaking news involving a player of Theo Meijer Quick Amersfoort!
In the off-season, catcher Bas Nooij came to Amersfoort after having played in the past years for big leaguer L&D Amsterdam Pirates.
The last years, Nooij wore a very recognizable beard, but he has now announced (and published photos of it) that the beard is gone!
Bas Nooij has played for the Amsterdam-squad since 2008.
From 2011 on, the beginning was visible of what was to become his trademark in following years!
