De Glaskoning Twins vs. Kinheim
Kinheim opened the score in the first inning off of starter Cedric Desmedt.
The Belgian righthander was initially announced as starter for last Sunday's game, but he was replaced in the rotation by veteran Elton Koeiman, who would have started when the game wasn't cancelled.
Koeiman initially wasn't listed in the starting rotation, as his appeal of a 2-game suspension was handled last Thursday.
The suspension was upheld and that made Koeiman not eligible to pitch on Thursday-evening and on Saturday-afternoon.
He became eligible again to pitch on Sunday and then was penciled in as starter.
With that, Koeiman wouldn't have had a suspension in reality, as he had been the Game 3 starter so far this season for Twins.
However, when the game rained out on Sunday and was re-scheduled for tonight, the starting pitcher changed again and Desmedt moved back into the spot.
He got two quick outs in the first inning, but then gave up a homerun to Kevin Moesquit, who played on a familiar field.
In 2014, he made his debut in the Dutch big league playing for Mampaey The Hawks.
In its last home game of the regular season in Dordrecht, on August 9, Moesquit hit his first big league homerun against ADO Lakers.
Later that season, he added a homerun at home during the Play-Downs against UVV on September 1.
Last season, Moesquit first played for Kinheim and then homered twice.
Tonight's homerun also was his second of the current season.
He hit his first one on May 19 in Amsterdam in a 12-2 loss against L&D Amsterdam Pirates.
Kinheim added its second run in the second inning.
Twins first turned a double play, but then Oliver van der Wijst Severino singled, advanced on walk for Jochem Koedijk, then scored on a single by Jasper Keijzer.
In the bottom of the second inning, Twins was productive off of starter David Bergman, but also left three runners behind.
With two outs, the veteran righthander suddenly lost his control, as he walked four consecutive batters!
The bases got loaded when Christopher Ge, Mick Molenaar and Bart Janssen all walked, then the run was scored when next batter Nick Peels received the fourth walk.
Hereafter, a grounder ended the at bat.
Kinheim then struck with six runs in the top of the third inning, which would be decisive.
The Haarlem-team got the bases loaded when Kevin Moesquit and Dudley Leonora walked and Victor Draijer reached on a bunt-single.
A grounder by Niels van Weert and a wild pitch then accounted for the first two runs of the rally.
Oliver van der Wijst Severino followed with a 2-run triple, then scored himself on an 2-out single by Jasper Keijzer.
Julio Hernandez followed with another single and when both runners advanced on a wild pitch, a pitching change followed.
Brendan Schoemaker took over, but he got the bases loaded when he walked Kevin Moesquit, who also had walked in his first at bat in the inning.
The righthander then hit Dudley Leonora with a pitch, which brought in the sixth run and lifted the lead to 8-1.
Kinheim stranded three runners when a flyout ended the at bat.

Both teams scored one run in the fifth inning.
For Kinheim, Julio Hernandez tripled with one out and scored on a following single by Kevin Moesquit.
For Twins, Jarreau Martina doubled with one out, then scored on a 2-out single by Jeffrey Arends.
Twins narrowed the deficit to 9-4 by scoring twice in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Anthony Vrolijk led off with a single and Christopher Ge doubled.
They then scored on grounders by Mick Molenaar and Bart Janssen.
Hereafter, pinch-hitter Brian Biezen doubled in his first at bat of the season and next batter Jarreau Martina was hit by a pitch.
Nick Veltkamp then took over for David Bergman, but walked Shurty Tremus to load the bases.
Twins then again left three runners behind when a grounder ended the at bat.
Kinheim took more distance by scoring three runs in the top of the eighth inning.
Kevin Moesquit led off with a walk, advanced on a throwing error during a pick-off and scored on a double by Dudley Leonora.
The latter moved to third base on a single by Victor Draijer.
Both scored on a double by Dexter de Weert, who himself was eliminated at third base trying to stretch it into a triple.
Twins also scored three runs in its eighth at bat, but did it without hitting a basehit off of new pitcher Scott Ronnenbergh.
With one out, the lefthander walked Bart Janssen and Brian Biezen, who then moved on a wild pitch.
The bases got loaded when Jarreau Martina also walked.
Hereafter, all runners were awarded the next base when Ronnenbergh committed a balk, then the next run was scored on a wild pitch.
That moved Martina to third base and he then also went on to score, this time on a passed ball.
With the bases now empty, Ronnenbergh struckout the next two batters.
Reggie Bomberg threw the ninth inning for Kinheim.
He gave up a lead-off single to Berry van Donselaar, but he was forced out.
A strikeout and groundout then ended the game.
