HCAW opened the score in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Nick Keur.
The lefthander gave up a lead-off single to Roelie Henrique, who advanced on an outfield-error and moved to third base on a grounder.
Keur then walked Vince Rooi, gave up a runscoring grounder to Kevin Dirksen, but closed with a strikeout.
Keur followed with three fine innings.
He gave up a lead-off single to Kevin Weijgertse in the second, but the HCAW-defense then turned a double play.
Keur retired the side in the third and walked a batter in the fourth, but he stranded on first base.

In the top of the first inning, he saw lead-off hitter Mark Smit reach on an error, but he was left behind on second base when the righthander closed with a strikeout.
Delemarre retired the side in the next two innings, then gave up his first basehits in the fourth.
Mervin Gario and Shurman Marlin then led off for Pioniers with a single, resulting in runners on first and third base.
With one out, Delemarre struckout Quintin De Cuba, which ended in a double play, as Marlin was caught stealing at second base.
In the top of the fifth inning, Pioniers scored two runs to take a 2-1 lead.

After an infield-fly accounted for the second out, the tying run was scored by Paap on an infield-hit by Mervin Gario.
The hit was followed by a throwing error, which enabled Frolijk to score the go-ahead run.
The lead was shortlived, as HCAW rallied for four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, which would be decisive.
Seb Visser led off with a walk and Rachid Engelhardt singled, but then the first was forced out on a grounder by Dylan Koster.
With runners on first and second base, Roelie Henrique hit a hard line drive down the leftfield-line that brought in the tying run.

It also led to a pitching change, as Nick Keur was relieved by Darryl Jamoena.
In the top of the ninth, Pioniers came back into the game, scored two runs, but in the end left three runners behind and ended up empty-handed.
During the inning, Pioniers Head Coach Dè Flanegin had a talk with Home Plate Umpire Winfried Berkvens, probably regarding the sun-situation, but the game continued.
The sun was not as bright as on Thursday-evening and so, the batter, catcher and umpire were less bothered by the setting sun.
With a 6-2 lead, Sedley Karel took the mound for HCAW in the ninth.
He got two quick outs, but then got the bases loaded.
Glenn Bakker and Mark Smit both singled and advanced on a wild pitch, then Mervin Gario walked.
Hereafter, Shurman Marlin also walked to bring in a run, which led to a pitching change.
Giovanni Tensen took over, but he hit Jeffrey Arends with a pitch, which narrowed the deficit of Pioniers 6-4, while the bases were still loaded.
But the inning and the game then ended when Quintin De Cuba grounded out.
