Today, he was throwing on a pitch-count of 45.
Today, the righthander, who underwent surgery early May, retired the side in the first inning.
Yntema also retired the first two batters in the second inning, then gave up a single to Devano Pieter and walked Tommy van de Sanden.
The two stranded when a grounder ended the at bat.
Yntema returned to the mound in the third inning.
In that at bat, he gave up a lead-off single to Mitchel Dautzenberg, who advanced on a comeback-grounder from Kevin Nieveld and scored on a single by Odion Gouverneur.
The bases got loaded when Koen Halderman walked and Omar Williams singled.
That marked the end today for the righthander, who had thrown 48 pitches and made another big step in his recovery.
Veteran Elton Koeiman took over.
He got a force play-grounder from Tino van Erk, which eliminated Williams, but also brought in the second run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Neptunus scored three runs with two outs off of starter Donny Breek to take the lead.
Shaldimar Daantji led off with a single and moved on a grounder, then Benjamin Dille was hit by a pitch.
The Belgian player was hit on the inside of his left elbow, but he was able to continue and stayed in the game.
After the two runners had moved on a passed ball, the bases got loaded when Gianison Boekhoudt walked.
Moments later, Daantji was forced out at the plate on a force play-grounder by Dwayne Kemp for the second out in the inning.
Christian Diaz followed with a 2-run single to tie the score and a throwing error on a grounder by Daniel Fernandes gave Neptunus a 3-2 lead.
DSS reacted with three runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the lead for the second time.
DSS also scored its runs with two outs.
Mitchel Dautzenberg then singled, stole second base and scored the tying run on a double by Kevin Nieveld.
DSS got the bases loaded when Elton Koeiman walked Odion Gouverneur and Koen Halderman with a pitch.
Omar Williams followed with a 2-run single to put DSS ahead, 5-3.
Neptunus also was productive in its fourth at bat, scored two unearned runs with two outs and made it a tie score again.
Last Thursday-evening, Jochem Koedijk was hit hard on his knee by a pitch, but he was in the starting line-up again.
In the fourth, he led off with an infield-hit and reached second base when a throwing error followed on a force play-grounder by Shaldimar Daantji.
A successfull force out then was made on a grounder by Stijn van der Meer, but hereafter, Gianison Boekhoudt and Dwayne Kemp delivered runscoring singles to make it a 5-5 score.
For DSS, the scoring stopped after four innings, while Neptunus added eight more.
Neptunus took a 7-5 lead in the fifth off of new pitcher Robyn Clara when it scored two more unearned runs.
Daniel Fernandes led off with a single, stole second base, moved on a flyout, then scored on a throwing error, which enabled Jochem Koedijk to reach first base.
With two outs, Koedijk also stole second and went on to score on a single by Stijn van der Meer.
Neptunus added three more runs in the sixth.
Gianison Boekhoudt led off with his league-leading eighth homerun.
With one out, Christian Diaz reached on an infield-hit and an error was made on a fielder's choice-grounder by Daniel Fernandes.
The two scored when Gregory Muller hit a 2-run double moments later.
In the seventh, Neptunus got the bases loaded with one out.
Benjamin Dille then doubled, Gianison Boekhoudt walked and Dwayne Kemp singled.
That led to a pitching change, as Timo van Lingen took over for DSS.
He was greeted with a runscoring single by Christian Diaz and Daniel Fernandes followed with a 2-run double to lift the lead to 13-5.
With runners on second and third base and only one out, Neptunus had a chance to end the game via the 10-run difference mercy-rule.
However, two flyouts ended the at bat and no more runs were added in the remainder of the game.
After giving up the three runs in the fourth inning, Neptunus-reliever Elton Koeiman gave up a 2-out double to Thomas Bos in the fifth, but retired the side in the sixth.
In the seventh, the righthander gave up a lead-off double to Omar Williams, but retired the next three batters.
In the eighth, he gave up a 2-out single to Kevin Nieveld, but he was forced out.
As the score didn't change anymore, Koeiman became the winning pitcher and raised his record to 9-2.
Misja Harcksen closed the game for Neptunus.
He gave up a lead-off single to Koen Halderman, then struckout the next two batters and got a force play-grounder that ended the game.
