Eight players batted in at least one run.
Afterwards, debuting Head Coach Ty Eriksen looked back to the game with a good feeling.
,,The nice weather granted us our first time outside and our first game on the same day'', Eriksen said.
,,We had to limit how many innings each pitcher threw, as the game for Sunday was cancelled and we needed to work in as many guys as possible.
Defensively, we played sound defense despite taking grounders for the first time.
On offense, we had a lot of free passes.
It was nice to see that our team wasn't swinging at bad pitches.''
