Illis is the fourth player who transfers from one club to another during the season.
The regular transfer-period in baseball begins after completion of the season and ends on November 1, while the softball-period ends on December 1.
However, in baseball it is possible to change clubs thereafter, and also when the season is underway, when both teams involved agree in the transfer.
Before the start of the season, catcher Brian Raap transfered from Hoofddorp Pioniers to Curaçao Neptunus.
Early May, closer Bayron Cornelisse left Pioniers to play for DSS.
Early June, first baseman/outfielder Bryan Engelhardt transfered from Kinheim to Quick Amersfoort, who both play in the second highest league.
After completion of last season, Jordan Illis transfered to DSS after having played four seasons for UVV.
Last year, he batted .161 and played in 28 games for UVV.
This season, Illis played in ten games for DSS, mostly in centerfield.
He batted .250 (7-for-28) with two doubles, scored seven runs and batted in three.
Illis played his last game on May 25 and then he and DSS separated.
