Neptunus completes sweep against Twins
Nederlands

OOSTERHOUT (Neth.) - Curaçao Neptunus won 7-2 against De Glaskoning Twins on Sunday (June 18) to complete a 3-game sweep. Neptunus opened the series on Thursday with a 12-10 win, then outscored Twins 9-4 on Saturday.

Neptunus took an early lead, scoring three runs in both the second and third inning.

Both teams collected seven basehits. Gianison Boekhoudt homered for Neptunus.

It was busy today in downtown Oosterhout, as it was the third and final day of the annual Parkfeest, which took place not that far away from the site of Twins. Performing this year at this music-festival since Friday were wellknown (Dutch) artists, such as Nielson, The Common Linnets, Jan Rot, Rob Dekay, Toontje Lager, Jett Rebel, Pearl Jamming, Kovacs and Van Dik Hout. There also were musical tributes to Joe Cocker, Bruno Mars and Bob Marley. The Foundation Parkfeest Oosterhout was set up in November 1997 to support social purposes, as well as the Oosterhout carnival.
