After being retired in order in the first inning by rookie Mic van de Ven, Neptunus scored three runs in the top of the second inning.
Dwayne Kemp led of with a walk, then stole second and third base.
Hereafter, Gianison Boekhoudt also walked and also stole second base.
The first run was then scored on a sacrifice fly by Daniel Fernandes.
Another walk followed, this time for Ruar Verkerk and the next run was scored on a ground-rule double by Urving Kemp.
A sacrifice fly by Jochem Koedijk then made it a 3-0 score.

Gregory Muller led off with a single and stole second base, then scored on a double by Christian Diaz down the rightfield-line, which landed just inside fair territory.
With one out, Gianison Boekhoudt homered to increase the lead to 6-0.

In the fifth, Daisuke Yamashita took over the pitching for Twins and retired the side in two consecutive innings (four strikeouts), as did Nick Peels in the sixth.
Neptunus scored its final run in the eighth off of new pitcher Matthew Latta.
The Belgian righthander gave up a lead-off double to Christian Diaz, who moved to third base on an infield-hit by Gianison Boekhoudt.
The latter stole second base and when a throwring error followed, Diaz scored.
Elton Koeiman was relieved by Kevin Kelly in the seventh.
He gave up a 2-out double to Menno Lenting, but he stranded on second base.
Kelly retired the side in the eighth, then Berry van Driel took the mound in the ninth.
