 Quick Amersfoort wins against UVV

 AMERSFOORT (Neth.) -
Quick Amersfoort won 11-6 against Pickles UV on Sunday (August 20) in the Promotion/Relegation Pool.
In the opener on Saturday, Quick Amersfoort also was close to a victory.
The team then took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, trailed only 9-8 halfway the seventh inning, but lost 12-8.
Today, trailing 2-0, Quick took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the first inning when Bryan Engelhardt hit a 3-run homerun.
Trailing again in the fourth (4-3), Bas de Jong hit a 2-run homerun to put Quick ahead.
The team then took more distance by scoring four runs in the sixth en route to its first win.
Quick collected 14 basehits, including four by Niels de Weert and De Jong.
Engelhardt and De Jong batted in four runs, while De Weert scored four runs.
