DSS set the tone for today's game with a 4-run rally in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Brendan Schoemaker.
He gave up a lead-off single to Odion Gouverneur, then hit next batter Levine Gabriëls with a pitch.
Gabriëls would be replaced by a pinch-hitter in the next inning.
The bases got loaded when Kevin Nieveld walked, then Omar Williams followed with a 2-run single and Tino van Erk added a sacrifice fly.
The fourth run in the inning was scored on a wild pitch.

The 5-2 lead not enough, as Twins rallied for five runs in the top of the third inning.
After lead-off hitter Dennis De Quint was hit by a pitch, the bases got loaded with one out when Bram Grooten walked and Menno Lenting singled.
Hereafter, the bases were cleared when Christopher Ge hit a 3-run double, which tied the score.

With one out, a pitching change followed.
Thijs Steenwijk, who had taken over the pitching during the previous inning, was replaced by Shurty Tremus, who is one of the coaches of Twins and initially retired as an active player after last season.
He gave up a sacrifice fly to Mitchel Dautzenberg.
With runners on first and third base, Tremus gave a 2-run double to Omar Williams and an RBI-single to Tino van Erk in his second at bat in the inning.
