Amsterdam Pirates wins fifth consecutive game in Championship Pool

L&D Amsterdam Pirates won 8-4 against HCAW on Saturday-afternoon (August 26) to win its fifth consecutive game in the Championship Pool.
Amsterdam opened the 3-game series against HCAW on Thursday with a 4-1 win.
The series ends on Sunday in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam initially trailed 1-0 after three innings, but then scored twice in the fourth at bat.
From there, the team took more distance and led 7-2 after seven innings.
Both teams collected 10 basehits.
Gilmer Lampe had three for Amsterdam Pirates.
In the second inning, Rachid Engelhardt doubled with one out for HCAW and scored on a 2-out single by Rossini Frolijk to put HCAW ahead.
In the fourth, basesloaded walks for Patrick Bok and Jesse Aussems gave Amsterdam a 2-1 lead, which it enlarged in the following innings.
