 Twins wins big against Onze Gezellen

 HAARLEM (Neth.) -
De Glaskoning Twins won with a big 12-1 score in seven innings on Saturday (August 26) against Onze Gezellen to win its third game in the Promotion/Relegation Pool.
The teams meet again on Sunday in Oosterhout.
Twins scored twice in both the second and third inning.
Leading 4-1 in the top of the seventh inning, Twins rallied for eight runs to increase the lead to 12-1 to reach a 10-run difference, needed to end the game via the mercy-rule.
Twins collected 14 basehits, including four by Gino Jonis, who hit a 2-run homerun in the third inning.
Bram Grooten had three basehits.
Dennis Blom hit two of the six hits of Onze Gezellen.
Twins-starter Brendan Schoemaker had a good outing, striking out eleven batters and giving up only four hits in the six innings he pitched.
