Amsterdam struck early with three runs in the opening at bat, added four more runs in the next three innings and went on to register a comfortable 8-2 victory.
In the top of the first inning, Amsterdam scored three runs with two outs off of starter Jurjen van Zijl, who had some problems with his control.
Remco Draijer led off with a single and moved on an one-out grounder from Gilmer Lampe.
Hereafter, Kenny Berkenbosch was hit by a pitch and Danny Rombley followed with a 3-run homerun.
Van Zijl then also hit next batters Linoy Croes and Rashid Gerard with a pitch.
The two moved on a passed ball, but then were left behind.
It was the second time this season that a pitcher hit three batters in one game.
The first was Jimmy Osinga (also UVV) on April 30 against Hoofddorp Pioniers (including two in one inning).
Last season, there were six pitchers who hit three batters in one game with two of them hitting two batters in one inning.
Remarkable enough, three of those six pitchers also played for UVV.
After Amsterdam Pirates left two runners behind in the second inning, the team added a run in the third at bat.
Danny Rombley led off with a double, moved on a passed ball en scored on a sacrifice fly by Jesse Aussems.
The league-leader scored three more runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning.
Remco Draijer led off with an infield-hit and advanced on a passed ball.
With one out, Draijer moved to third on a single by Gilmer Lampe.
With runners on first and third base, Kenny Berkenbosch delivered a runscoring, ground-rule double.
Hereafter, the next runs were scored on a sacrifice fly by Danny Rombley and a triple by Linoy Croes.
It was the fifth triple this season for Croes, who is closing in on the single-season record which is seven.
Last year, Shaldimar Daantji (Neptunus) equaled the record of seven triples, which was originally set in 1983 by Marcel Joost (Haarlem Nicols).
It was then tied in 1988, 1998 and 1999, before Daantji last year became the fifth player in history to accomplish the feat.

Jurjen van Zijl held the Amsterdam-offense scoreless in the next two innings.
In the seventh, he was relieved by Roderick Hennekes, who then gave up the eighth Amsterdam-run.
Lead-off hitter Linoy Croes reached on an error, then scored on a double down the leftfield-line by Rashid Gerard.
Kevin Heijstek started for Amsterdam, threw seven fine innings and raised his record to 5-0.
In the first inning, the righthander walked lead-off hitter Rick Kuipers, who stole second base, but stranded there.
Heijstek then retired the side in the next two innings.
In the fourth, Bryce Cherry and Tijmen Takke opened for UVV with a single, but a strikeout and double play followed.
Heijstek retired the side for the third time in the sixth at bat and was supported with another double play in the sixth.
In that at bat, UVV got the bases loaded when Rick Kuipers, Bryce Cherry and Tijmen Takke all singled, but the inning ended when Rodney Daal grounded into a double play.
It was the first time today that UVV had a runner on third base.
Last Thursday, UVV didn't get into scoring position at all.
In the seventh inning, the Amsterdam-defense turned its third double play of the day.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Nick Veltkamp took over the pitching for Amsterdam.
His first delivery to Brandon Rijnbergen went over the leftfield-fence for a homerun.
This not only was Rijnbergen's first big league-homerun, it also was his first basehit at the highest level.
Before today, Rijnbergen (who is a back-up player) was 0-for-3.
He did not play in the main squad in the past two seasons and was 0-for-22 in 2014 after he had gotten one at bat in 2013.
Rijnbergen now has joined an elite group of players whose first big league-basehit also was a homerun.
With one out in the eighth, Veltkamp hit Rick Kuipers with a pitch.
He moved to third base on a triple by Bryce Cherry and scored on a sacrifice fly by Tijmen Takke to make it an 8-2 score.
In the bottom of the ninth, Veltkamp gave up a 2-out double to Rijnbergen (who again hit on the first pitch he saw), but then closed the game with a strikeout.
