With one out, Zerzinho Croes reached on a bunt-single off of starter Gilian van Lith.
Hereafter, Nick Urbanus also turned to bunt.
On contact, the ball developed into a line drive and was caught by first baseman Randy Daal, who then threw the ball to Van Lith to double up Croes at first base and end the inning.
In the top of the second inning, Berend Ruben tripled with one out for UVV off of starter Robin Schel, but stranded on third base.
In the bottom of the second inning, the UVV-defense made another double play.
Gilmer Lampe led off with a walk and Linoy Croes walked with one out, but hereafter, Rashid Gerard grounded into a double play.
After the Amsterdam-defense also made a double play in the top of the third inning, the team scored three runs in the home half of the at bat.
With one out, Max Clarijs walked and Remco Draijer reached on an infield-hit.

With runners on second and third base, a balk led to the next run and a sacrifice fly by Nick Urbanus made it a 3-0 score.

In the top of the fourth inning, Amsterdam made another double play.
With one out, Sergino Martis doubled.
Hereafter, Bryce Cherry flied out, which led to a double play, as Martis had left his base.
In the bottom of the fourth, Amsterdam got a chance to take some more distance, but left three runners behind.
The team got the bases loaded with no outs when Linoy Croes singled, Rashid Gerard walked and Patrick Bok reached on a bunt-single.
But hereafter, an infield-fly, strikeout and groundout ended this scoring opportunity.
In the fifth, Amsterdam had runners on first and third base with one out, but was held scoreless again.
Nick Urbanus led off with a walk, stole second base and reached third on a wild pitch.
With one out, Danny Rombley also walked.
In this 'one-three-situation', Rombley took off from first base, but Urbanus got into a rundown and was eliminated.
Rombley stranded on second base.
In the bottom of the sixth, Amsterdam scored again, adding two runs off of new pitcher José Moreno.
Rashid Gerard led off with a single, then Patrick Bok hit a homerun down the rightfield-line to make it a 5-0 score.
For Bok, who made his big league-debut in 2013, this was his first homerun at the highest level.
In the next two innings, Amsterdam was held scoreless by relievers Roland Laurens and Jonah Van Bemmelen.
Amsterdam-starter Robin Schel retired the the side in the fifth and sixth inning, then got two baserunners in the seventh.
With one out, the lefthander walked Sergino Martis and with two outs, Mike Bazuin singled, but they were left behind.
In the eighth, Dennis Burgersdijk took over from Schel and retired the side.
Closer Daan Hendrix then pitched the ninth inning for Amsterdam.
With one out, he gave up a single to Randy Daal, but then closed with two strikeouts to end the game.
