Roger Bernadina productive in third Tigers-win in Korean Series

SEOUL (South Korea) -
KIA Tigers won its third consecutive game on Sunday-afternoon (October 29) in the Korean Series, winning 5-1 in Game 4 against Doosan Bears to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven Final.
With that, Tigers, the team of Dutch outfielder Roger Bernadina, is one victory away from the championship.
In today's game, Bernadina was productive, hitting two basehits, including a triple.
He batted in two runs and scored once.
Game 5 will be played on Monday, also in Seoul.
Tigers took a 2-1 lead on Saturday-afternoon by winning with a 6-3 score.
Reigning champion Doosan Bears had won the opener on Wednesday with a 5-3 score.
In that game, Bernadina hit a 3-run homerun for Tigers.
On Thursday, Tigers evened the Series by winning only 1-0.
In that game, a sacrifice bunt from Bernadina brought a runner to third base, who then went on to score the lone run.
On a chilly day, Tigers took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, then added two runs in the seventh at bat in front of 25,000 spectators in Jamsil Stadium.
Bears scored its lone run in the bottom of the eighth, but Tigers got the run back in the ninth.
In the first inning, Tigers opened the score when Roger Bernadina connected for an RBI-triple off of lefthanded starter Hee-kwan Yoo.
That brought in Joo-chan Kim, who had doubled with one out.
Moments later, Bernadina scored the second run himself on a single by Hyung-woo Choi.
In the seventh inning, Tigers doubled its lead by scoring two more runs.
Bum-ho Lee led off with a single and moved on a sacrifice bunt.
Sun-bin Kim then walked.
With two outs, a run was scored when Joo-chan Kim reached on an error.
Bernadina added a runscoring single to make it a 4-0 score.
Gi-yeong Im started for the Tigers and the side-arm pitcher struckout six hitters in 5 2/3 inning to become the winning pitcher.
Bears scored its lone run in the eighth on a 2-out single by Nick Evans.
Tigers got the run back in the ninth on a force play-grounder by Joo-chan Kim.
