Neptunus scored a run in each of the first five innings and then led 16-0 afterwards.
However, it appeared that Twins would open the score in the top of the first inning.
With one out, Jamie Verheyleweghen reached on a throwing error and Dennis De Quint walked, but a strikeout and force out followed.
Neptunus then opened the score moments later with two runs in the bottom of the first inning off of starting pitcher Brendan Schoemaker.
He walked lead-off hitter Stijn van der Meer, gave up a single to Benjamin Dille and saw the two runners advance on a sacrifice bunt by Christian Diaz.
An error on a grounder by Dwayne Kemp and a sacrifice fly by Gianison Boekhoudt then accounted for the first two runs.
Neptunus added two more runs in the second inning.
The home team got the bases loaded with no outs.
A force play-grounder by Benjamin Dille then didn't result in an out, but did produce a run.
Christian Diaz followed with a sacrifice fly to make it a 4-0 score.
After doubling its lead in the second inning, Neptunus again doubled its lead in the third, scoring four runs.
Rien Vernooij led off with a triple and scored on a following single by Daniel Fernandes.
Hereafter, Urving Kemp reached on a bunt-single and two runs were added on a double by Shaldimar Daantji, who later scored himself on a grounder by Benjamin Dille.

Gianison Boekhoudt homered for Neptunus in the fourth inning to lift the lead to 9-0 and in the next at bat, the Rotterdam-squad rallied for seven more runs to put the lead out of reach.
In the fifth, Canadian Branden Kuzyk, who was recently added to the roster, took over the pitching for Twins.
Kuzyk also pitched for the team two years ago when it won the title in the second highest league and then promoted to the big league.
In his first big league-game, the righthander ran into problems, as seven of the nine batters he faced in this inning reached base.
Kuzyk gave up a lead-off single to Urving Kemp, then got the bases loaded when he walked Shaldimar Daantji and Stijn van der Meer.
Another walk followed, this time for Benjamin Dille, resulting in a run.
A passed ball led to the next run, as did a grounder by Christian Diaz.
Back-to-back runscoring doubles by Dwayne Kemp and Gianison Boekhoudt followed and with two outs, Daniel Fernandes also doubled in a run.
That marked the end for Kuzyk.
He was relieved by Thijs Steenwijk, who first threw a wild pitch, then gave up a runscoring single to Urving Kemp, his second basehit in this inning.
A foul-out ended the inning, but Neptunus had taken a commanding lead.
After five very productive innings, Neptunus was retired in order in the sixth by Steenwijk.
Neptunus-pitcher Kevin Kelly never ran into problems.
Twins had a runner on second base in the first inning, but didn't get into scoring position again in the remainder of the game.
Kelly retired the side in the second, fifth and sixth inning.
He walked a batter with two outs in the third, but then closed with a strikeout.
In both the fourth and seventh inning, he gave up a single.
In the fourth, Bram Grooten singled with one out and in the seventh, Tair Vrutaal led off with a single, but the Neptunus-defense both times followed with a double play.
