Halfway the third inning, Hoofddorp Pioniers trailed 4-3, but the team then reacted with three runs, added four in the next at bat and won 11-5.
For this game, Pioniers' Head Coach Dè Flanegin had adjusted his batting order as opposed to the previous games.
In the previous five games, Dudley Leonora was hit lead-off hitter, but he batted in third place today.
Mark Smit, who batted in the seventh or eighth spot in four previous games, now was the lead-off hitter, while Mervin Gario moved up from third to second place.
Also, Sander Paap, who had been the number two or three batter, today was listed in sixth place.

When he also walked next batter Jeffrey Arends, it led to a run and brought out UVV's Head Coach Ty Eriksen for the second time to make a pitching change.

With two outs, Cherry scored the go-ahead run when Randy Daal's fly to the outfield was missed.
UVV's lead was shortlived, as Pioniers answered with three runs in its third at bat.
Lead-off hitter Mervin Gario was hit by a pitch and stole second base, then moved on a single by Dudley Leonora.
