Jeandro Tromp led off with a single and the bases got loaded with one out when Roelie Henrique also singled and Vince Rooi walked.
Bryce Cherry followed with a runscoring single to give HCAW an early.
But three runners were left behind when the next two hitters flied out.
In the next two innings, HCAW got another chance to do some scoring, but both times, a runner was left behind on second base.
In the second at bat, Denzel Bryson was on second base with one out, then Yntema struckout the next two hitters.
In the third, Vince Rooi was on second base with two outs when Yntema again closed with a strikeout.
In the five innings he pitched, Yntema struckout eight hitters.
Neptunus got into scoring position in its first at bat off of Dennis Burgersdijk.
With one out, the righthander gave up singles to Benjamin Dille and Dwayne Kemp, but then was supported with a double play.
In the second inning, Burgerdsdijk gave up a lead-off single to Shaldimar Daantji, who was caught stealing shortly thereafter.
Neptunus came alongside with two outs in the bottom of the third inning.
Darryl Collins led off with a double, but he was then eliminated on a grounder towards third base by next hitter Jochem Koedijk.
With two outs, Koedijk advanced on a single by Benjamin Dille and scored on a single by Dwayne Kemp.
Neptunus then left runners behind on first and third base.
Neptunus failed to take the lead in the fourth.
Shaldimar Daantji led off with a single.
He moved on a grounder and a single by Gregory Muller, but they stranded on first and third base.
After HCAW had left another runner in scoring position in the top of the fifth, Neptunus scored twice in its fifth at bat.
The team got runners at the corners when Stijn van der Meer and Benjamin Dille both singled.
Hereafter, a double run-down followed.
Dudley Leonora grounded the ball to third baseman Vince Rooi.
Van der Meer took off, but got in a run-down between third base and the plate, while Dille advanced to second base.
Van der Meer was able to return safely to third base, but in the meantime, Dille also had arrived there, who then got hung up in the second run-down.
This time, Van der Meer was more successful and scored, while Dille reached third base safely.
Also, Leonora had advanced to second base in this situation.
Moments later, Dille scored the next run on a wild pitch.
HCAW got another scoring opportunity in the top of the sixth off of new pitcher Jiorgeny Casimiri, who got the bases loaded quickly.
He walked lead-off hitter Seb Visser, then gave up an one-out single to Kevin Weijgertse and walked Denzel Bryson.
A force play at the plate followed on a grounder by Jeandro Tromp and a grounder to first base ended the at bat, meaning HCAW left three runners behind for the second time.
Neptunus added a run in the bottom of the sixth.
Lead-off hitter Gregory Muller reached on an error, moved to second and third base base on two passed balls, while Darryl Collins walked.
Muller scored on an infield-hit by Jochem Koedijk to make it a 4-1 score.
With one out, Collins and Koedijk advanced on a sacrifice bunt, but stranded on second and third base.
HCAW cut the deficit in half in the top of the seventh off of Casimiri.
With two outs (double play), Bryce Cherry singled, then moved to second base on a wild pitch while Seb Visser struckout.
He scored when Patrick Bok followed with a single.
Leading only 4-2, Neptunus decided (and ended) the game with an 8-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Thirteen batters stepped up to the plate, who produced eight basehits.
Dudley Leonora and Shaldimar Daantji led off with singles.
With one out, the two executed a double-steal, then scored on a single by Gregory Muller.
That led to a pitching change, as Moreno Vork took over from Dennis Burgersdijk.
Vork walked Darryl Collins and gave up a single to Jochem Koedijk to get the bases loaded.
A run was then scored when he walked Stijn van der Meer and Benjamin Dille followed with a baseclearing, 3-run double that made it a 10-2 score.
Moments later, Dille scored the next run when Dwayne Kemp reached on an error.
In his second at bat in the inning, Dudley Leonora again singled and after a flyout, the bases got loaded again when Quintin De Cuba also singled.
The game then ended via the mercy-rule when Gregory Muller delivered a runscoring, walk-off single that made it a 12-2 score.
