Last year, Cherry made his debut in the Dutch big league when he played for Pickles UVV, which relegated.
There, he played in 21 of the 36 regular season-games and batted .299 (20-for-67) with three doubles and one homerun.
The lefthanded hitting Cherry scored ten runs and batted in seven, while walking nine times.
After completion of the regular season, Cherry was not on the roster of UVV during the games that were played in the Promotion/Relegation Pool.
Before coming to UVV in the transfer-period at the end of the 2016 season, Bryce Cherry played for Robur '58 in Apeldoorn.
With Robur '58, he won the championship of the Second Division in 2016.
Cherry, who will wear uniform number 21, already has joined the Bussum-squad and has attended several practice sessions in the past weeks.
Coming weekend, he is eligible to play for HCAW when it opens its exhibition season against Quick Amersfoort.
Saturday at home, Sunday in Amersfoort.
