Second exhibition game between Neptunus and Storks cancelled

ROTTERDAM (Neth.) -
The second exhibition match-up between Curaçao Neptunus and Silicon Storks was cancelled on Sunday (March 11).
The game was to be played at the home site of Neptunus in Rotterdam.
On Saturday, the two teams opened the exhibition season at the home site of Storks, which won 8-6.
On Saturday-evening, it was the intention to play again on Sunday.
However, some heavy rain-showers traveled across the southern part of the country on Saturday-evening and through the night.
As a result, the field was not declared playable for Sunday's game.
Some other games in the area to be played by teams from lower divisions, also were cancelled.
Two other games that were scheduled for today, were already cancelled earlier.
L&D Amsterdam Pirates was to play against Quick Amersfoort, while HCAW had a game scheduled against its second team.
Weather permitting, ten games will be played next weekend, involving big league-teams.
Five on Saturday, five on Sunday.
When these game can be played, all eight big league-squad will get into action.
